The tendency to focus on the grim side of any issue, or group, goes far beyond the movies, of course. […] The bottom line, for me, is that there is a great opportunity for nonprofit groups, university communication and journalism programs and creative individuals to step in to the gap left by Hollywood and the media and find ways to tell the up side of the human story.
