I have seen the future of rock and roll, and his name is Frank Turner

Well, okay, maybe not — who can figure out where the music industry is heading these days? (The “future of rock” thing, by the way, was what critic Jon Landau wrote in 1974 about an obscure young songwriter named Bruce Springsteen.) But whether Frank Turner is rock’s future or not, this has automatically shot to the top of my list of atheist anthems:

And I’ll be damned (heh) if he isn’t channeling the fiery spirit of a young Springsteen in his voice, looks, and soul-baring intensity. Here’s another clip — a paean to rock and roll that would make the Boss proud:
